Q. What will we be doing? Why do I need this?

A. The RDA BasicsBuilder is a one week program designed to be a simple, no hassle, quick routine that you can do everyday in 8 minutes or less, and still make gains on your strength and fitness. This program was designed by skaters, for skaters of all experience levels. You can do these workouts wherever you are, no equipment needed. What you’re going to get is 5 different workouts, each only 8 minutes long or less. We call it our Eight Minute Method! You’ll do one workout per day, so you get a fresh routine and a new challenge for your body each day of the week. Learn more on the BasicsBuilder home page!

Q. What do I need to get involved? Where does this happen? 

A. Email and a mobile device for the RDA Fitness App; a small space where you can work out and some motivation. That’s it, this program is FREE! You can do this from anywhere in the whole wide world!

Q. Is this for weight loss?

A. This program is designed to provide you with specific off-skates workouts that will help you improve your base, which in turn improves your time on skates. This means these moves help build your foundational strength and control, and helping to prevent injury. They’re gentle enough so you can still do other more strenuous workouts, or derby practice, on the same days if you want to. If you’re in the off-season, you can also take ‘er easy and JUST do this and go to practice if that feels right for your body – perfect for maintenance.

Q. How do I get in?

A. Just fill out your information here and you’ll automatically be added. We’ll send details to your inbox to get the RDA Fitness app set up and working for you. Soon after you’ll get introduced to your own Skater Success Coach, who are there to offer encouragement and answer any questions you may have.
