Summer is coming, and the forecast is in: warm weather with a 100% chance to show off those arms!

We like to always have a sunny side up point of view and we will always egg you on to push yourself.
It’s time again for our 4-week challenge to pump up your upper body strength, shoulder stability, and general tank top vibes. Previous Challengers described the newly named “Sunny Side UPper Body” Challenge as well-coordinated, a reasonable time commitment, and uncomplicated. Not to mention, our challenges are a great way to reconnect with other skaters around the world and feel that sense of community again.

This challenge is free for MVP members. $45 for non-members & Essential members. Challenge begins May 2nd!

Maloik

Is a board-certified and licensed Athletic Trainer with a masters degree in exercise physiology, working with a  wide variety of patients and athletes focusing on first aid care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. Known in the derby community as “Safety Maloik,” her passion is proper training/prehab to prevent injury during competition.

JOHNNIE KNOCKS'EM

Has been in the roller derby scene since 2010. She started out as a primary All-Star skater for the Derby City Roller Girls in Louisville, Kentucky.  In 2018 she received her official NASM certification as a personal trainer. Some of her specialties include small group training and youth exercise. She spends her time in Atlanta as a full time fitness coach and small group circuit training instructor.

Started my Roller Derby Athletics program today. Turns out a year off skates and 10 months of not working out has done a number on me - my initial fitness test was, well...
